# agyleOS — Full Product Context > agyleOS is a Skill Management platform for skills-based organizations. It connects skills, roles, teams and capacity in one system, so HR, managers and employees can see who can do what, where the gaps are, and who can close them. Built in Berlin, hosted in the EU on Microsoft Azure. This file is the detailed companion to [llms.txt](https://agyleos.com/llms.txt). German summary: [llms-de.txt](https://agyleos.com/llms-de.txt). ## Positioning - agyleOS is Skill Management software. Skills are the shared data layer behind every module. - agyleOS is not a talent management suite, an HRIS or a payroll tool. Recruiting, payroll, absence management and compensation are out of scope. - agyleOS complements HR systems such as Personio. The HR system stays the system of record for employee master data; agyleOS adds skills, roles, team structure and capacity on top. - agyleOS is not only for agile organizations. It supports classic hierarchies, agile models (tribes, chapters) and cell-based structures. Team Topology is a means to an end: it makes skills visible in the context of the real organization. - The core idea: roles are not job titles, they are sets of required skills with minimum levels. Comparing those requirements with real, assessed skill levels shows gaps, fit and development needs automatically. ## Company - agyleOS GmbH, Berlin, Germany. Founded 2020. Fully remote team. - Founder and CEO: Erdal Ahlatci. - Started with team topology mapping for self-organized structures; skill management became the core focus in 2022. - Hosting: Microsoft Azure, data hosted in the EU. - Login: https://agyleos.app/ ## Who uses agyleOS All three groups use agyleOS day to day, with role-based views and permissions: - **HR / People & Culture admins:** maintain the skill library, roles and permissions; run 360° feedback and surveys; analyse gaps across the organization. - **Team leads and managers:** see their team's skill matrix and gaps, assess skills, set development goals, compose and staff teams. - **Employees (self-service):** maintain their profile, rate their own skills, assess colleagues, see their role fit and development goals. ## Pricing (as of September 2026) See https://agyleos.com/pricing for current prices. - **Starter — €5 per user per month:** skill management, custom skill database, organization dashboard, kudo wall. - **Pro — €8 per user per month:** everything in Starter plus 360° feedback sessions, surveys, capacity management, interactive org charts and AI features. - **Enterprise — on request (recommended for 200+ employees):** everything in Pro plus SSO, HR tool integrations (e.g. Personio), dashboards with insights, and custom third-party integrations. - 20-day free trial, no credit card required. The same scale and colors are used across the whole product. - Every skill rating exists as **self assessment** and **peer assessment** (colleagues and managers). Both are shown side by side everywhere, which makes gaps between self-image and external view visible. - Peer assessments can be given anonymously. ## Modules ### Skill Management (core) - Organization-wide skill list with level distribution (beginner / intermediate / expert), average and trend, number of people, teams and roles per skill, role gaps and categories. - Adding a skill suggests matches from a curated agyleOS skill library as you type. New skills can be created freely. - Each skill is typed as hard skill or soft skill, assigned to categories, and can have a description (written manually or AI-generated) and a link to learning resources. - Skill detail view: people with the skill and their level, level distribution per team, roles that require the skill with minimum levels, role gaps, categories, and trend per person over time. - Page: https://agyleos.com/skill-management-software ### Role Management and Gap Analysis - Roles have a description and a set of required skills, each with a minimum level (1–9). - AI suggests roles typical for the customer's industry (derived from the company website in the organization settings) and suggests ten fitting skills per role, including a proposed minimum level. - Role detail view: current role holders with availability and self/peer role fit in %, and **potential candidates** who do not hold the role yet but fit based on their assessed skills. - Gap analysis per role, grouped by skill or by person, for self or peer assessment. - Per person and role, a radar chart compares peer assessment, self assessment, goal level and required level. - Roles can be flagged as open positions for internal mobility and succession planning. - Pages: https://agyleos.com/skills-gap-assessment, https://agyleos.com/competency-management-software ### Skill Goals and Development - For any skill, a goal level, deadline and action plan can be set. The action plan can be AI-generated with concrete development steps. - Goals are set per person and skill, independent of a role; required levels come from the role. When someone changes roles, their goals stay and required levels adjust. - Full goal history and a timeline of self, peer and goal levels per skill. - Page: https://agyleos.com/employee-development-software ### People (employee profiles) - Profile with bio, contact, location and time zone, and memberships (teams, chapters, tribes). - Skills and roles tab: radar chart and list of all skills (self, peer, goal), role fit per role with radar chart. - Teams tab: team memberships with roles and capacity allocation. - 360° feedback and certificates tabs. - Kudos can be given directly from a profile. ### Team Topology (interactive org chart) - Visual, interactive org chart of the real structure: organization → circle → tribe → teams and/or chapters. Levels are optional; a team or chapter can sit directly under the organization. - Chapters are cross-functional, role-based groups (e.g. "Frontend Developers"). - Level names are configurable per language (e.g. "Cluster", "Cell", "Department" instead of "Tribe", "Team"). - Search by skill highlights units and shows the average level per unit; search by role shows how many people hold a role per unit. - Edit mode with drag and drop, drafts for planning reorganizations before publishing, and version snapshots of the structure over time. - Page: https://agyleos.com/interactive-org-charts ### Cockpits (dashboards per unit) - Every organization, circle, tribe, team and chapter has its own configurable dashboard. - Widgets include skills, roles, availability, spoken languages, purpose/vision/mission, skill trend, survey results, values and agreements, tools and links, P&L, rich text, calendars and iframes. - Each widget can be public or admins-only. - **Team skill matrix:** skills × team members, switchable between team, self, own and manager assessment, with gap counts per skill and suggested people who could close each gap, including their availability. - **Team configuration:** teams can be defined by required roles (people needed per role) and/or required skills (number of beginners, intermediates and experts needed per skill). agyleOS then shows role gaps, skill gaps and each member's skill impact. - Page: https://agyleos.com/skill-based-team-building-platform ### Capacity Management - Defines what percentage of each person's time is allocated to each team and how much is still available. - Availability is visible in profiles, team cockpits, the org chart and candidate suggestions. - Members can be full members or associated members of a team. - Page: https://agyleos.com/team-capacity-planning ### 360° Feedback - Four-step setup: recipients, deadline and privacy settings; content (roles with their skills, individual skills, skill categories, open questions); participants (with suggestions by team or skill, managers can be flagged); invitation email. - Privacy controls: anonymous or named feedback, visibility of comments and open answers. - Results as matrix or radar chart, per participant and averaged, compared with self assessment, goal and required level. - Option to feed results into skill ratings across the platform, or keep them isolated in the session. - Page: https://agyleos.com/employee-performance-reviews-tool ### Surveys - Ready-made surveys for eNPS, Psychological Safety and Agile Mindset (with scientific sources), plus custom surveys. - One-off or recurring, organization-wide or per unit, average or NPS calculation, configurable scales. - Results broken down per team or unit, compared across runs, and shown in cockpit widgets. Publishing results is controlled separately from running the survey. - Page: https://agyleos.com/employee-survey-system ### Kudo Wall - Employees thank each other with a badge and message; kudos appear on a public wall with reactions. - Page: https://agyleos.com/kudo-wall ### P&L - Imports revenue and expense data (CSV) and shows profit and loss per team, tribe or circle, including gross margin, contribution margin and adjusted EBITDA, budget vs. actual and comparisons over time. - P&L widgets can be added to cockpits, usually as admins-only. ## Permissions and administration - Admin roles: Organization Admin; User, Role & Skill Admin; Feedback Coach; Team Admin (per team); Chapter Admin (per chapter). - Permissions are configurable per topic and per level, for example who can view skill ratings, who can assess skills, who can set skill goals, and who can see survey results. ## Integrations - **Personio:** syncs users and optionally teams; configurable handling of deactivated and removed employees; webhook for real-time updates; manual sync always shows a preview of changes before anything is applied. Page: https://agyleos.com/personio-integration - **Active Directory / OpenLDAP:** user synchronization. - **SSO:** Enterprise plan. ## AI features - Skill and role descriptions generated on request. - Role suggestions based on the customer's industry. - Ten suggested skills per role, with suggested minimum levels. - Suggested development steps for skill goals (e.g. what it takes to move from level 5 to level 8). ## Frequently asked questions - **What problem does agyleOS solve?** Organizations rarely know which skills they have, which skills each role needs, and where the gaps are. agyleOS makes this visible and keeps it current through self and peer assessment. - **Is agyleOS a Personio alternative?** No. It complements Personio and syncs users and teams from it. - **Is agyleOS talent management software?** No. It is skill management software.
